In this game cards with lower value such as 2 or 3 are generally considered as positive values where as this is totally reversed for the cards with higher value. However, for different card counting methods each card is assigned some different values. The card counter may make a tally of the points in his mind but it would be better if he estimate the point values as per the dealt cards as well as the un-dealt cards. This way the card counter can get the accurate value or proportion of the cards that are left on the deck shoe. He has to keep it in mind that it would be complicated when there are large ranges of point values in the deck. Card values with 0, 1 and -1 are easier tasks while cards with multilevel count with higher point values create difficulty for the counter.

While counting cards the tough part would be to count the aces that are necessary when it comes to have a blackjack. Aces are not so much necessary for the players but it is essential in order to make a blackjack. So this should be a positive count. The benefit that a player could get from this card counting is that it allows the player to make larger bets when the cards on the deck allow him and in adverse situation he can make smaller bets. He can use this information to make better results for him.
